Funerals

The right words to say goodbye

A funeral is not just a farewell, it's a chance for family and friends to reflect on a life - and celebrate everything which was special about the person they have lost.

A celebrant funeral

A celebrant is able to conduct a funeral whether it is held in a crematorium, in a woodland, by a grave* or anywhere that would like to hold it.

Working with family and friends, a celebrant will be able to create a service using words and music which tells the story of the person who has passed.

Most people engage a funeral director to handle the arrangements, and they provide wonderful care and guidance to families. They may recommend a celebrant - alternatively you are free to contact a celebrant directly, who will then liaise with the chosen funeral director.

The choice is yours.

*Celebrants are only able to conduct burials in unconsecrated cemeteries.
